Work for us

People make a business great

At Spenda, we understand that there is more to life than work. We also know that happy, well-balanced staff are more productive. So, we’ve created an environment that promotes creativity, ownership and trust in every part of the business. As part of the team you’ll enjoy the following perks;

Volunteer opportunities

As a business, we like to give back to the community. We often run volunteer days near Christmas like cooking at the Ronald McDonald House. You can participate in our business volunteer days without having to use your annual leave.

Flexibility

We know how challenging it can be to balance work and family. We’re happy to talk to you about flexible working hours so you can get the most out of your family, work and life commitments.

Gym membership

Healthy people are happy people. We run two group training sessions every week that are free for staff who choose to participate.

Work from home

We believe people work to their greatest potential when they work to the beat of their own rhythm. That’s one of the reasons we transitioned to a completely virtual office. Supported with cutting edge technology and cloud-based infrastructure, our team now enjoys the flexibility that comes with remote working.

Social club

We have a great work culture and like to get together outside of work. We organise a range of activities to keep our team connected from go-karting to BBQs and everything in between.

Share program

When you own something, you are more passionate about seeing it grow and succeed. That’s why we offer our staff share programs. A win for the company is a win for staff individually.

Current Opportunities

We are growing our Software Development Team significantly in 2021, and are looking for an exceptional Agile Delivery Manager who has a passion for ensuring high-quality business value is delivered sooner to our customers.

As part of the Management Team, this strategic cross-divisional bridging role reports to the Chief Technology Officer, and is responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day delivery of great software.

This is a full-time permanent, work from home, leadership role and we anticipate you will be degree-qualified in Computer Science, with 5+ year’s experience in leading and coaching multiple agile software delivery teams, totalling 20-30 developers. Experience in leading geographically diverse teams, in either a software house or a medium-large enterprise IT team delivering bespoke software products and services, will be highly valued.
