Spenda Limited (SPX) is an integrated payments and lending platform supplying industries with a broad range of B2B payment services, digital trading software and integrated solutions.

The Company delivers horizontal payments and lending solutions relevant to any business who needs to make or receive payment, provides end-to-end e-invoicing integration, rapid ordering, digital trust and automated reconciliation. Spenda supplies its customers a recipe of integrated software to create a vertical market standard operating environment (SOE) that enables the effective and seamless transfer of data from multiple, disparate software systems in one standardised technology solution.

Spenda has licensing agreements with third-party software vendors that enable it to provide integrated SOE solutions to its customers.

Adrian Floate

Managing & Executive Director

Adrian Floate is an IT innovator who has been building software for 20 years. He has founded, built, and sold several technology businesses and worked in Asia, Australia, the UK and US. Adrian has both private and public company experience at an executive level.

As an entrepreneur at heart with a fascination for emerging business technologies, Adrian has spent the last 20+ years solving complex problems and developing new technologies to bolster business efficiency.

The culmination of his experience and passion resulted in the launch of Spenda with a goal to permanently change the way businesses trade and pay each other.

Adrian has held no other directorships of listed corporations in the last three years.

Peter Richards

Non-Executive Chairman

Peter Richards is an experienced independent director with over 40 years of international business experience with global companies including British Petroleum, Wesfarmers Limited, Dyno Nobel Limited and Norfolk Holdings Limited.

During his time at Dyno Nobel, he held several senior positions within the North American and Asia Pacific businesses, before being appointed as Chief Executive Officer based in Australia (2005 to 2008).

Peter has served as non-executive chairman of Elmore Limited (previously known as IndiOre Limited) since 2017, having been a non-executive director since 2009. He is also Chairman of GrainCorp Limited and Emeco Holdings Limited. Peter holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia.

Howard Digby

Non-Executive Director

Howard Digby is a professional business leader with wide ranging international experience across a variety of industries and markets. He has a proven track record in starting and growing businesses.

Howard’s recent director experience includes exposure to disruptive early-stage technology, Israeli based provision of high security and bandwidth data voice and video communications technology, IT services, including cloud migration and cybersecurity, cloud-based application software in the healthcare sector, and a Silicon Valley based next generation memory technology. Howard holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons), Mechanical Major from the University of Western Australia.

Howard has held no other directorships of listed corporations in the last three years.

Stephen Dale

Non-Executive Director

Stephen Dale has business experience in telecommunications, logistics, retail furniture and saddlery ventures. Since 2003 he has been a Board member of Saddleworld Australia, a franchised retail group, having served as chairman and currently is deputy chairman.

He has also served as a Board member of Assumption College Kilmore for 14 years. In addition, his current activities include providing support services to the retail sector and development of a beef cattle breeding stud.

Stephen has held no other directorships of listed corporations in the last three years.

David Laird

Non-Executive Director

David Laird is a seasoned Payments Industry Professional with over 25 years’ experience in developing and deploying technology to solve complex client problems. As an Institutional Banker, he developed and implemented ground-breaking solutions for Government and many of Australia’s largest companies. His experience extends to commercial, legal and technical negotiations.

David is a foundation team member and shareholder in Fintech company DataMesh, who have developed and certified a cloud-based Merchant Acquiring switch and proprietary android EFTPOS terminal software and are actively deploying solutions in market. Servicing a suite of Institutional clients and major Australian Banks, DataMesh works with retailers and acquirers to enhance their relationships and capabilities.

Also an independent consultant, David advises on the full spectrum of Transaction Banking, including Payments (inward and outward) and Liquidity Management for major enterprises requiring specialist advice and knowledge. His experience has included senior customer facing roles at ANZ and Commonwealth Bank and the world of Fintech. Holding a degree in eCommerce, David has lectured Information Systems for Business at Deakin University’s Faculty of Business and Law as part of their MBA / MPA programs.

Justyn Stedwell

Company Secretary

Justyn Stedwell has completed a Bachelor of Business & Commerce at Monash University, a Graduate Diploma of Accounting at Deakin University, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance with the Governance Institute of Australia and a Graduate Certificate of Applied Finance with Kaplan Professional. He has over thirteen years’ experience acting as a Company Secretary of ASX listed companies.
