Take payments and trade with confidence
A payment stack allowing businesses to take payments, collect debt, set up pay-later plans and get access to working capital.
At Spenda, we take payment security very seriously. We have a team dedicated to ensuring everything is fully compliant with industry standards so you can take secure online payments with complete confidence.
We ensure all our software solutions are designed, built and maintained to the highest security standards, that all transactions are legitimate and that your data (and your customers’ data) stays in safe hands.
Security is at the forefront of how we build our software. All of our Software Engineers are accountable for the ongoing cybersecurity risk awareness within the software domain.
On top of that, our products and services are developed and hosted in Microsoft’s Azure cloud environment, which is a highly secure cloud foundation managed by Microsoft. This system uses multi-layered, built-in security controls and unique intelligence to help identify and protect against rapidly evolving threats which helps us to provide secure payment services for our customers.
In addition to our own internal security assessments, our software is tested by independent external security consultants who perform penetration testing and other security assessments on our applications and cloud infrastructure. This approach allows business transactions to be created, stored and audited within the Spenda infrastructure and also sent securely across encrypted HTTPS channels to external parties or other payment gateways.
You can relax knowing that we are working hard to protect your business. And because we literally make it our business to keep all transactions and data safe, you can trade with complete confidence knowing that we have got your back.
We adhere to strict Anti-Money-Laundering (AML) and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) security checks and all users must also demonstrate they own their credit card and the linked bank account. These checks help us to better understand businesses using the Spenda platform and their financial dealings so we can mitigate any potential risks and deliver a better payment experience.
2SA is a method that confirms a user’s identity in two steps, through two different factors (2SA is also known as Multi-factor Authentication). We use your username and password you sign in with as the first means of identifying you, then a one-time-valid 6-digit passcode is sent to your mobile phone, to confirm it really is you. This makes it extremely difficult for unauthorised people to access your account and helps keep your data safe.
We cover all bases and use both internal and external security screening to ensure all business transactions are securely created and stored. This testing approach gives us that extra level of protection so we can fix any vulnerabilities before they arise, and it ensures your data is kept safe and transactions remain compliant at all times.
